Dear Lady Members,                                                                                                       2nd June 2017

Congratulations to our new County Champion – Alice Kozlowski (Ellesborough GC) who beat Megan Dennis (Woburn GC) 2&1 in a thrilling final at Beaconsfield GC on 7th May.  Both girls played some outstanding golf and it was a treat to witness their skill and sportsmanship under such tense conditions.

I take great pleasure in announcing the Bucks squad for County Week 2017.  In alphabetical order:-

Deeya Aggarwal (Stoke Park)                        Shamiso Hatchard (Woburn)

Georgina Bowers (Stoke Park)                       Daisy Kennedy (Stoke Park)

Victoria Bryan (The Lambourne)                   Thalia Kirby (Harleyford)

Megan Dennis (Woburn)                                Alice Kozlowski (Ellesborough)

Denise Goodacre (The Lambourne)                Lucy Mathews (Ellesborough)

Rachel Goodwin (Harleyford)                        Susanna Mitterer (Woburn)

I feel we are incredibly lucky to have such a large talent pool to choose from and I am confident we are taking our strongest team to Kings Norton GC in what I am sure will be a hard fought County Match Week (26th - 30th June).

Seeing the fairways lined with supporters gives all the counties a huge morale boost, so if you can spare a day (or two) please come along to support us at Kings Norton and remember to wear RED.  Volunteer caddies are also very welcome each afternoon!

Best wishes,

Sue Ashworth
(County Captain)
